The Newham Deanery Youth & Partnerships Council involves decision-making and strategic planning, while the Newham Deanery Youth & Partnerships Coordination focuses on organising and managing youth partnership activities. IDEA supports both.
Dr. Demetriou has had numerous papers delivered at conferences including the LSRN conference at Greenwich University in July 2023.
In the past, his work has heavily involved advocating for a revision into how PGCE learners are taught, with an emphasis on promoting positive mental health. This is demonstrated in his book 'Supporting the Social and Emotional Learning of Students in FE, due to be published in February 2024.

With over seven years of teaching experience across schools in London, he also supports Deanery youth through confirmation classes and is a committed member of the Knights of St. Columba. Mr Maurer holds an Accounting and Finance degree from Durham University with professional experience in auditing, business consultancy, and personal finance training.
Since 2008, Mr Salmon—better known in schools as the unforgettable Sir Linkalot—has been on a mission to prove that absolutely any fact can be committed to memory through the power of imagination. From the spelling of tricky words like “believe” to complex concepts such as the meaning of transubstantiation, he empowers students to make connections, known as “links”, that embed knowledge deeply and effortlessly.

Given his accomplished career in corporate Business Analysis, Mr Ian Smith is our Trainee KS2 Maths SATs & IT GCSE KS3 Tutor. He makes Maths accessible to pupils in his unique manner.
Mr Smith holds a BA Hons in Business, an International Diploma in Business Analysis from the Chartered Institute for IT and 25 years' experience in delivering complex, transformational projects to high standards.
He specialises in Maths KS2 SATs preparation, pupil engagement, and deploying tools and techniques to pupils to help them grasp concepts and grow in confidence. As he embarks on his career change, Ian is keen for feedback to adapt his methods and continually improve.

With a focus on technique, Miss Mamallan's goal is to not only teach but to instil passion. Her accolades include but are not limited to six grade 9s at GCSE, the Jack Petchey award, two first-class degrees awarded by the Brilliant Club programme and a gold medal awarded by the UK Maths challenge.
A keen learner and educator, Mr. Musse achieved no less than 8's and 9's at GCSE and went on to extend this feat to A level, receiving A*AA in the subjects he now teaches.
Mr. Musse is currently studying chemical engineering at the prestigious
University of Manchester.
Mr Cudjoe is a faith-led consultant known for supporting vulnerable communities and fostering Church outreach. He coordinated Syrian refugee summits, securing aid and housing, and co-founded Potiphar House Partners to help parishes build local partnerships rooted in spiritual growth
Mr. Obuasa "Bosco" Djabatey is a Political Economy Master’s student dedicated to youth empowerment through faith, education, and community partnerships. Inspired by St. John Bosco, he works with parishes and organisations to create vibrant spaces for youth leadership and development.
